Welcome to April Showers Flower Farm, my personal microscale urban cut flower farm located in East Redding, CA.
I specialize in cultivating an array of specialty blooms and unique colors, each grown meticulously from seed or rootstock. My passion for floristry extends beyond simple cultivation; I adeptly blend foraging with traditional farming techniques to craft truly unique floral offerings.

Each of my designs celebrates the current season, showcasing flowers primarily sourced from my own urban flower field in East Redding. I'm April, a fourth-generation green thumb with over two decades of experience in growing flowers and vegetables. My journey in agriculture began in elementary school when my first job involved picking weeds in my dad's plant nursery. I earned a penny for every weed, but only if I pulled them out roots and all—a lesson in thoroughness that has stuck with me through the years.
As a mother of four, cultivating beauty through flowers has become a natural extension of my life and passions. My love for flowers was truly ignited by a simple but transformative gift—a bouquet of peonies from a dear friend. This gift opened my imagination and led me to start my very own flower farm, where I now devote my days to growing a variety of blooms that bring joy and color to others.
At April Showers Flower Farm, every flower tells a story, and every bouquet is a testament to a lifelong passion that grows deeper with each passing season. I'm delighted to share the beauty of my garden with you, crafted from the rich heritage of my family's agricultural roots and my personal dedication to the earth.

I ordered a birthday bouquet for my mom from April Showers Gardens and it was a stunning arrangement! It was whimsical yet cohesive and had so many vibrant colors and fun textures. It really was an artistic arrangement and my mom absolutely loved it. She ended up saving it as a dried arrangement because she loved it just as much dried! I told her it truly was the gift that kept on giving. I would definitely order again and again from April Showers Gardens!
